This project is a quick how-to for building a dSolar powered robot. It’s based off the nxtprograms.com 5-Minute Bot. The instructions below show the dSolar 4W panel, but you can easily put the 2W in place too.

A Solar Powered Robot
[box]STEP 2: Throw the batteries out. Or at least put them to the side. You don’t need them with the dSolar!

[box]STEP 3: Build the solar chassis. This will hold the solar panel up. See pictures to the right.

[box]STEP 4: Attach the solar chassis to the NXT.

[box]STEP 5: Build the electrical: now we will hook up the electrical power to the robot.
