NXTBee Lookup Table Example

The NXTBee – now with a lookup table.

Happy summer! Out of the spirit of being lazy over the summer, we’re releasing something new, but old.  When sending information, especially large chunks, the information can get interrupted.  To solve this problem, and sort between good data and bad data, we often calculate a checksum and attach it to the end of the data.

A lookup table is a way to put a checksum into a transmission. Rather than calculate out the checksum, a lookup table operates much faster.

This was some work put together by Xander a few months back. The example is a really fast way to encode data being transmitted between NXTBees and uses RobotC.
