The Line Follower attaches to your Raspberry Pi Robots and enables you to program it to follow a line. Program your GoPiGo to serve a drink across a room, and learn the basics of how automated warehouse or self-driving cars work!
This 8GB microSD Card comes with the no software. You will need to download and install the Raspbian for Robots software for our BrickPi, GrovePi or PivotPi robots. We recommend buying our USB drive for doing updates and storing photos taken with the Pi camera.
The Raspberry Pi 3 is the newest version of a tiny, yet powerful single board computer that can be used in robotics, science experiments, electronic projects, games, and much more! Many of our Dexter Industries robot kits are designed to use the Raspberry Pi, including the GoPiGo, BrickPi, GrovePi, and Arduberry. The Raspberry Pi was developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the UK.
The Power Battery Pack holds 8 AA batteries to extends the life and allow for mobility of your BrickPi, or GoPiGo (please note: GoPiGo & BrickPi base kit and starter Kit already includes a power battery pack). This should only be ordered separately as a spare part.
Measure bending motions and make robots that mimic you. dFlex flexible sensor measures angular displacement, or bend, of the sensor. The sensor bends and flexes with mechanical motion. dFlex does not work with EV3.
The dGPS is a GPS sensor for the BrickPi, LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT & EV3. This sensor sends GPS coordinates to your robot and calculates navigation information. Check out the full handbook for dGPS here.
This Open Thermal Probe offers more rapid temperature readings. The probe is for use on dry surfaces and can be mounted to beakers, distillation columns, and other surfaces using steel bands. It is compatible with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT and the BrickPi.
The Dexter Industries Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIR) reads surface temperatures of objects. It is a non-contact thermometer based on the MLX90614. This sensor works with BrickPi3, NXT, and EV3Dev (not EV3-G)
